With added Youtube

The alarm clock shows a live photo from the street while it plays music videos directly from youtube, carefully selected from the user's own top 50 on last.fm Ironically, the little thing can't play mp3, but it certainly can play full motion videos with sound. Sounds legalese? It is.

Photo from what street? Webcam? And, you bought it online, what store if I might ask? Been thinking of getting one of those.

The accelerometer is built-in. That allows me to program the Flash movie to automatically play quiet music and set the alarm for next morning.

yeah, or have the chumby live in the bed (it's soft afterall), and just sense the vibrations. It also has an impact readout, so one way of disabling the alarm could be slapping it real hard.
