Cool, so how do they prevent theft? I guess every tag has weight information. Do you drive over a weight scale or something on the way out? Or does it perhaps check what you checked in with the sum of rfid's in your basket in the checkout area..

I was expecting a weight system, too. Turns out they do manual spot tests. As I understand it it's not based on RFIDs yet

Perhaps they are going to do like the traffic cams do.. take a picture of you on the way out. If you didn't pay for all of it, a letter will be in the mail with you computer-recognized face on it and a invoice ;-)
